Shipping policy
Made to order
Our items are printed and manufactured for you only after you place your order. That means no surplus stock — but the delivery time has two parts:
Production time + Shipping time = total delivery time
We produce regionally: orders from Europe are made in our European facility, orders from the USA and Canada in North America. This keeps transit short, and within each region no import charges arise.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs depend on the destination and the total weight of your order. They are shown during checkout before you place your order. All prices are exclusive of shipping.

Amounts in euros. For deliveries within Germany and the EU, prices include statutory VAT.
Delivery times
Delivery time consists of production time and shipping time. Both are counted in business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) from receipt of payment.

If you order several items that are made in different facilities, they will arrive separately (see Partial deliveries).
These times are estimates, not binding delivery dates. During peak periods (Christmas trading, promotions) and for embroidered items, production can take longer. If a delivery is significantly delayed, we will let you know.
Tracking
As soon as your order leaves the production facility, you automatically receive an email with a tracking number and a tracking link.
Partial deliveries
If you order several items, they may arrive in separate shipments — for example if they are produced using different techniques or in different facilities. This does not cost you any additional shipping.
For your right of withdrawal this means: the period only begins when you receive the last partial delivery.
Customs and import charges
Within the EU, and for deliveries within the USA and Canada, no import charges arise, because we produce in the respective region.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU and outside North America (for example Switzerland, the UK, Norway), customs duties, import VAT and the carrier's handling fees may apply. These are not included in the purchase price or the shipping cost and are payable by the recipient. Their amount and collection are governed by the law of the destination country.
Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
Please check your delivery address before completing your order. An incorrect or incomplete address means the shipment cannot be delivered. If a shipment is returned to us for that reason, you bear the cost of re-shipping.
If you notice an error in the address after ordering, please contact us immediately at info@flywithcaptainjoe.com. Since production starts right after the order is received, changes are only possible within a short window.
Damaged shipments
If an item arrives damaged or misprinted, please contact us at info@flywithcaptainjoe.com with a photo and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or a refund, at no cost to you.
